Dan manages the department housing our sophisticated data processing systems that prepare the rented and client-owned databases which drive the production of our clients’ mailings and emailings. The work includes database setup and ongoing management, data enhancement – upper and lower casing, genderization, extension of abbreviations, insertion of salutations - address standardization, zip code correction, bar coding, merge-purging and duplicate elimination, record and source coding, data entry, CASS (Coding Accuracy Support System) certification, postal presorting, mail merging, and record updating against the NCOA (National Change of Address) file. Also in his charge is our substantial production laser imaging department producing high quality personalized letters and matched inserts. Dan is skilled at custom programming in response to clients that request complex data coding, tracking, and manipulation. Dan has ten years’ experience with JLS Mailing Services, and Arrow Direct. He brings to his key position intensive knowledge of mail house software applications, fluency in multiple software products and operating systems, and extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software.
